Meopham Valley was founded in 1991 on 5 acres of Loam over Limestone in the North Weald village of Meopham. The vines - including many noble varieties, are now coming to maturity, and the vineyard has a licence to sell a wide variety of wines by the bottle. No pesticides or herbicides are used, and by 2002, the wines will be fully organic, adding to the small number of such vineyards in the UK.
