| Wissett was first planted in 1987, and officially opened in 1991. The vineyard lies in a small valley, half a mile down a farm road In 1993, the owners invited the Bishop of Norwich to revive the old vine blessing ceremony previously used in mediaeval times. The vineyard closed for several years, but has now been renovated and reopened by the same owners. A very pleasant attraction near to the tourist town of Southwold. |
