Somerby first planted in 2005, but added another 3000 vines in Spring 2008. By 2013, the total had reached 13,000 spread across 18 acres, making it the largest vineyard in Lincolnshire. That year brought another first for the Hobsons- a UKVA gold medal for their Solaris. this wa the first gold ever achieved by a northern vineyard, and is unlikely to be their last. | |
