  • Holmfirth vineyard is planted on a South-East facing slope in the beautiful Holme Valley, made famous by the 'Last of the Summer Wine' series on BBC TV.

The vineyard was planted in 2008, and produced its first small crop in 2009. In 2010, the white wine won a Bronze medal at the Mercian vineyards competition. In 2011, a magnificent new visitors centre was opened in front of the new winery. These are powered by electrical ground pumps and PV power. Tours are available at 11a.m. every day- by appointment.
Future plans include the development of visitor appartments based in the old quarry below the vineyard.
