    • There is little in the way of protection between this vineyard and Siberia. On one occasion, grapes were harvested by the Northern Lights ! Light, pleasant wines available from the vineyard. The North Star Sweet wine is a champion and gold medal winner over several years. Bottom photograph shows the Skuriats receiving the Mercian Championship cup in 2006. Sold via the EWP website
    Vineyard is quite difficult to find. Coming from Loughborough you by-pass Costock on your left and start up a shallow hill. Ash Lane is an un-adopted lane partially hidden by a tree on your left just before the hill summit. The vineyard is about half a mile up Ash Lane set back on the left hand side.
