LLWYNHUDUL PLAS

Pwllheli

Llwynhudol translated means Magical [ or enchanted] Grove. The house was built circa 1850 for the retiring estate manager of the Broom Hall Estate. We believe the cottages were originally the coach house and latterly cow sheds. They are now run as holiday lets so we an offer accommodation. The beauty of Llwynhudol is that we are nestling on a hillside, which means we are sheltered from some of the winds and are a sun trap. We planted the vineyard on the south eastern side of the land that slopes down towards the sea and harbour. The vineyard is only small and was planted as an experiment but we are hoping to expand. We are currently growing Rondo and Seyval Blanc in order to produce Red and Sparkling wines
