Somborne Valley is a relatively recent planting of 20 acres on the Hoplands Estate, set in the picturesque Somborne Villages of Hampshire. The wines are made by Three Choirs and are listed on the estate website.Already they show promise, with bronze medals at the 2007 UKVA championships for their Sparkling Blanc de Blancs, made from Chardonay, and for their 2004 Pinot Noir.They also received a bronze for their 2006 Rondo/Triomph red at the 2007 Thames & Chilterns Vineyards Association wine challenge.
