One of Wales' top vineyards, planted between 1987 and 1989 on a sandy loam soil. It produces between 24,000 and 35,000 bottles of quality Welsh wine a year and is now an important stop on the tourist circuit in South Wales and its reputation is increasing all the time.
The founders of Llanerch, Peter Andrews, ran the vineyard for many year until their retirement in the early part of this Century.
However, the reputation continues to grow and Ryan Davies now owns it.The site includes a cookery school and meeting facilities and hosts wedding receptions.
