Organic vineyard planted in 1981. The cider is produced on a
hand-turned press with the apples embedded in a 'cheese'of straw. Avalon
are the only producer of naturally sparkling cider left in Somerset. The Schonburger grapes were grubbed up as they did not respond well to Organic viticulture nd were replaced by Orion. The vineyard also produces fruir wines and liqueurs |
