Ancre Hills was planted on 2 south facing sites just to the north west of Monmouth in 2006. Very 'Go ahead' vineyard producing still and sparkling wines from their own shop. They are also the only vineyard in Britain to grow albarino. They are also aiming to be fully accredited bio-dynamic vineyard in Britain.Their sparkling Rose and Pinot Noir reds are rated as silver/bronze level in the International Wine & Spirir competitions.
